Brick and wood
This American country bathroom starts and ends with two materials: brick and wood.
The brick dominates the flooring and walls, while the wood takes up the cabinetry and lining of the bathtub. While elements such as wallpaper and tiling help complete the space, it is these two defining the country look.
The room mixes gray and white as the main colors, with attention paid to the brickwork in the walls, tiles and cabinetry. Lining double sinks with washtub basins is smooth dark wood, accented with the detailed and dark design of the mirror framing.
The bathtub is long and narrow, with a nice window overlooking the scenery outside. It’s picturesque and reminiscent of the country days, before concrete, metal and vinyl became the mainstays for house design.
